Obituary of William H. Lyon

William H. Lyon, 80, of Freehold died on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Bartley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson Township. He was born in Liberty, N.Y. and had resided in Montrose, Pennsylvania before moving to Freehold seven years ago. Mr. Lyon was a security officer for Wells Fargo Security, Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Freehold. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Lyon; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Caryn Lyon, Brick Township; a daughter and son-in-law, John and Rebecca Seifert, Jackson Township; two grandchildren, Aidan and Addison, Seifert, Jackson Township; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Frances Lyon, Chandler, Arizona; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Reformed Church of Freehold or the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
