Obituary of Thomas Allen Greiner

Thomas Allen Greiner, 69, of Lakewood died on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. He was born in Newark and had resided in Marlboro Township and Florida before moving to Lakewood. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. Mr. Greiner was a lineman for Verizon, Matawan before his retirement in 2003. His wife, Margaret Greiner, died in 2002. He was also predeceased by a brother, William Greiner. Surviving are three sons, William Greiner and wife Christine, Jason Greiner and wife Amanda, and Nathan Greiner; three daughters, Melanie, Monica, and Meghan Greiner; two sisters, Donna Frank and Debbie Pugh and husband Bill; and six grandchildren, Mikayla, MacKenzie, Jason, Jr., William, Mia, and Allan. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
