Obituary of Edith L. Tucker
Edith L. Tucker, "Edie" 83, of Freehold passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at The Manor, Freehold Township. Born in the Bronx, NY, she grew up in Fords on her family's farm and spent most of her adult life in Freehold, where she raised her family.
She worked for many years with different Youth Groups at Ardena Baptist Church in Howell Township, Robertsville Bible Church as well as other churches in the area.
She was very involved in the Pro–Life movement, a Girll Scout Troop Leader, a supporter
of Wounded Warriors, and a proud constituent of President Donald Trump. She enjoyed playing her guitar, a lively debate, teaching ceramic classes and sharing her favorite Bible verses.
Ms. Tucker was predeceased by her parents, Charles Glemann and Mildred Potts Glemann; her brother, Charles "Charlie" Glemann; her grandson Christopher Stanley; and her son- in-law, Neil Stanley.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jody A. Stanley of Farmingdale and Gina Lee Hansen of New Egypt; her grandchildren, Rachel Lopez, Jessica Stanley, Michelle Stanley, Tyler Hansen, Mogens Kelly Hansen and Maegan Hansen Yenger; her great grandchildren, Kevin Hildebrand, Chase Stanley, Ashtyn Stanley, James Lopez, Luke Lopez, Dawson Hansen, Carson Hansen, and Peyton Hansen, as well as her two sisters, Linda Irish and Carol Glemann.
There will be a visitation Friday morning, November 16th from 9:30 until 10:30 at Ardena Baptist Church, 593 Adelphia Road, Howell Township. The Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday 10:30 at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Wounded Warriors.
