Obituary of Joseph Matthew O'Neal

Joseph Matthew O’Neal, II, 73, of Freehold Township died on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Joseph M. and Marjorie Sheehan O’Neal and his son, Joseph Matthew O'Neal, III. Surviving are his loving companion, Bonnie Petrula; two daughters, Dawn O’Neal and Joe; Debbie O’Neal and Anthony; a brother, James O’Neal and Janet Levitt; a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Bill McManus; two grandchildren, Taylor and Mark; a great grandson, Steven; and three nieces. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A time of remembrance and prayer will be held at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Graeme Preston Foundation would be appreciated.
