Obituary of Joann Kathleen Getta

Joann Kathleen Getta, 62, of Howell Township died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at home. She was born in Queens, N.Y. and had resided in Howell for the past 35 years. She was a medical transport driver for J & D Transportation, Neptune. Prior to that she was a bus driver for the ICCC Head Start Program. Surviving are a son, Scott Getta; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Alex Martinez; a brother, Thomas Bedell; four sisters, Jean Johnson, Margaret Kapcio, Kimberly Hindman, and Cherri Avila; two granddaughters and three grandsons. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
