Obituary of Ann Zurinsky Pontus

Ann Zurinsky Pontus, 99, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at her home in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. Her sons and their spouses, Raymond and Jennifer, Richard and Laurie, were with her. Ann, the eldest daughter among twelve siblings, was born to Katrina and John Piatkowski, in New York City, in 1919, and lived in Freehold, New Jersey until she married. A devout Christian, Ann participated in church and among missionaries her entire life, trusting that Jesus Christ saved her by His Life, Crucifixion, and Resurrection. She carried this message with her to many corners of the world. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Alex Pontus 2009, and her first husband, Raymond Zurinsky 1983. Surviving are her two children, Raymond and Richard, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Interment was on Friday, October 5 at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold.
