Obituary of Ronnie R. Steppat

Ronnie R. Steppat, 71, of Freehold passed away on October 8, 2018. He was born in Nebraska. Mr. Steppat served in the U.S. Army. He was a warehouse manager for Nestle Company, Freehold where he was employed for 39 years before his retirement. He was a former member of the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad and Monmouth Post. No. 54, American Legion, Freehold. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Shutzer Steppat; his children, Ronda Hendrickson and husband Keith, Michele Cirincione and husband Raymond, and Ronnie Steppat, Jr. and wife Danielle; a sister, Lee Schamber; five grandchildren, Matthew Hendrickson, Ryan Cirincione, Christopher Steppat, Meghan Cirincione, and Tara Steppat; two great grandchildren, Raina and Raylan Hendrickson; and a sister-in-law, Frances Shutzer. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m. followed by entombment at Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, Freehold. Memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
