Obituary of Carolyn Grace LeMunyon

Carolyn Grace LeMunyon, 83, of Howell Township died Monday, May 4, 2015 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. LeMunyon was born and raised in Providence, R.I. She moved to Freehold where she lived for 21 years before retiring to Whispering Pines, N.C. She and her husband moved to Howell Township last year. Mrs. LeMunyon was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck and St. Anthony’s Church, Southern Pines, N.C. She was a lifelong N.Y. Yankees fan and an avid golfer as well as a member of the church choir at St. Mary’s and the Piney Pipers Chorale Society, Southern Pines. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Grace Collins and a brother, John Collins. Surviving are her husband, Francis X. LeMunyon; her children and spouses, Mary LeMunyon, Cream Ridge, Walter and Carol LeMunyon, Jackson, , Betty and Kevin Duffy, Huntington, Maryland, Ken and Lisa LeMunyon, Freehold, Steve LeMunyon, Hackettstown, Peter and Danielle LeMunyon, Holmdel, and Rose and Chris Bianchino, Hillsborough; and 12 grandchildren, Brooke, Brendan, Evan, Kelsey, Jack, Kate, Ryan, Shannon, Hailey, Hannah, Michelle and Matthew. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. IN lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
