Dearest Shannon and the entire Conway Family, I was so sad to hear this unexpected news today, my heart aches for all of you as there is no loss like losing your Mom. I like to say no matter how great a Dad you have and you have one of the great ones, that all of us Dads come in a distant 2nd to Moms. May your Spouse, Mom and Grandmom know all of God’s glories and may she be a little girl once again running and laughing with other loved ones who are kids too in fields of wildflowers or along the beach in Heaven. Your Mom had seen some of the hardest and saddest things one can in her career may she know nothing else but happiness now. Sadly I can not make it tonight but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and send our condolences, hopefully I will see you soon and will reach out to you too. I’ve been down this road before so it would be my pleasure if you want to bend my ear or need any advice. Your Mom left a beautiful legacy in all of you and if you pay attention she will visit, they all do if your open to seeing, they never leave us they can’t . Lastly take things one hour, then one day at a time, then one week and one month. Things do get better and tears turn to tears with smiles and then fond memories. God bless all of you during this difficult time. I picked fall flowers in her honor as I will always remember meeting her at this time of year at your house more years ago then I can remember.
