Obituary of Martin E. Schweer

Martin E. Schweer, 89, of Spotswood died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. He was born in Lyme, New Hampshire and had resided in Spotswood for the past 15 years. Mr. Schweer was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a carpet installer before his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris R. Schweer in 2003. Surviving are a son, Edward Mico and wife Charlotte; four daughters, Angela Bowler and Robert Waldheim, Sherry Marek and husband Carl, Margaret Schweer Sebok and husband Michael, and Rebecca Queenan and husband Brian; a brother, Howard Schweer; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
