Obituary of Catherine A. Schaffer

Catherine A. Schaffer, 65 of Freehold Township died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at home. Mrs. Schaffer was born in Passaic and had resided in Freehold for many years. Surviving are her husband, William P. Schaffer III; a stepson William P. Schaffer, IV; a stepdaughter Jessica Sandino, her husband Keoma, and son Jason Patino; two sisters, Charlotte Stratton and husband Danny and Joann D’Ambra and husband John; and four nieces, Jill and Collette Tamburo and Emily and Olivia Schaffer. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Susan G. Komen Fund would be appreciated.
