Obituary of John Kevin Larkin

John Kevin Larkin, 65, of Manahawkin died on August 25, 2018 at Manahawkin Convalescent Center, Manahawkin. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a pressman for the New York Daily News and New York Times and a member of Pressman’s Local No. 2, New York City. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Kathryn Larkin; a brother, Eugene Keith Larkin, and a sister, Genevra Larkin. Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Larkin; a granddaughter, Kirsten; a sister-in-law, Laura Larkin; and three nephews, John Larkin and wife Tania, Michael Larkin and wife Kristy, and Dennis Larkin and wife Melissa. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
