Obituary of Isabelino Colon

Isabelino Colon, 78 of Freehold passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he has lived in the Freehold area for the past 40 years. Mr. Colon was a self-employed carpenter. Surviving are his longtime companion, Linda Mallow; a son, Jose Colon, Freehold; two daughters, Irma Nuez and her husband Estevan, and Vickie Colon, Freehold Township; six sisters, Monserrate Colon, Alexandra Lopez, Lenore Garcia, Ana Colon, Carmen Colon, and Sylvia Colon; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday September 3, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
