Obituary of Betty Corrado Voorhees Malsbury

Betty Corrado Voorhees Malsbury, 76, of Howell Township, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 surrounded by her family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Betty was born in Jersey City. She was the hospitality coordinator for The Brookside, Freehold before her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mary Rohl Corrado; and her former husband, Allan Voorhees. Surviving are her husband, Howard “Butch” Malsbury; a son, Allan Voorhees and wife Darlene; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Malsbury-Nowak and Joseph Nowak; and Mary Adriene Malsbury and Jeffrey Lynn; a brother, Thomas Corrado; four grandchildren, Stephen Voorhees and wife Shelby, Jessica Napolitano and husband John, and Mary and Joseph Nowak; two great grandchildren, Jonathan and Olivia; and two nieces, Deanne Snodgrass and Tina Corrado. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Emley’s Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge.
