Obituary of Harold C. Kilbride

Harold C. Kilbride, 96, of Colts Neck Township died on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Care One at Holmdel, Holmdel Township. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Roselle Park. He was an honors graduate of Roselle Park High School and an All-State shortstop. He attended Clarkson University. Mr. Kilbride served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War before retiring with the rank of Major. Following his military career, he was an engineer for T. Shriver and Company, Harrison. His wife, Zita Joan Brown Kilbride, died in 1992. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, George and Norma Kilbride; three nephews, William, Christopher, and Robert; and four grand nieces and nephews, Katherine, Abigail, Jack, and Natalie. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Wounded Warriors Project would be appreciated
