Obituary of Celester Joan Rappa

Celeste Joan Rappa, 64, of Old Bridge Township died on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was born in Newark, raised in Belleville, and then moved to Old Bridge She was predeceased by her mother, Rose Rappa. Surviving are her father, Stephen Rappa and a sister, Diane Rappa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to join for a memorial gathering at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Celeste’s name to New Jersey Institute for Disabilities, 10A Oak Street, Edison, NJ 08837. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
