Obituary of Alice Louquet Crawford
Alice Louquet Crawford, 90, of Howell Township died Friday, May 15, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Howell. Mrs. Crawford was born in Freehold and had resided in Colts Neck before moving to Howell four years ago.
She was a graduate of Freehold High School, Class of 1943. She was employed at the Draft Board during World War II and was a medical secretary and librarian at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital where she employed form 1945 to 1951 and from 1968 until her retirement in 1985.
She enjoyed gardening and loved the outdoors.
Her husband, William Crawford, died in 2010. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Betty Ann Crawford in 1973.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Vincent Creevy; a sister, Virginia L. Gillespie; and two granddaughters, Sandra and Gabrielle.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holmdel Cemetery.
