Obituary of Gary Buckley

Gary M. Buckley, 61, of Marion, Montana died at home on June 5, 2018. He was born in Long Branch and was raised on the family farm in Marlboro Township. Gary was a graduate of Marlboro High School, Class of 1974 and had worked with harness horses at the Abbatiello and Lomeyer Stables. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas M. Buckley, and his brother, Thomas Buckley. Surviving are his mother, Mary N. Buckley; his sisters, Sharon Buckley-Reed and Christine Buckley-Brunner; a sister-In-Law, Karen Buckley-VanCuren; his nieces and nephews, Katie Callahan, Shannon Schaaf, Kelly Accetta, Thomas Buckley, Patrick Reed, Katelyn Reed, Sarah Brunner and Shaun Brunner. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
