Obituary of Marcella Noller
Marcella D. Noller, 81, of Bayville, formerly of Howell Township, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Township. She was born in New York, New York and was a lifelong resident of the Freehold area.
She was an administrative assistant for the Freehold Regional High School District. She was also employed at the Freehold Police Department, East Windsor Water Company, New Jersey State Department of Transportation, and Van’s Restaurant, Freehold.
Mrs. Noller was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Court No. 737, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Freehold, and a volunteer for Monmouth County Office on Aging, Birthright, and a former Pay Master of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post No. 4374, Freehold.
Her husband, John Noller, died in 2001. She was also predeceased by a brother, Corporal Edmund Rohan, U.S. A. F. who was killed while serving in Korea; her mother, Marcella Rohan; and a sister, Phyllis Power.
Surviving are two sons, Stuart Reda and Darrin Reda; a daughter, Lee Ann Nastasi; a stepdaughter, Joan Jakelis; a brother, Timothy Rohan; her grandchildren, Michele Seek, Michael Nastasi, Brittany, Darriana, and Brandon Reda, Gail Hall, Lynn Kearney, and Jill Anderson; and five great grandchildren, Taylor, Kylan, Kennedy, and Kaydance Seek, and Priscilla Hickey.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
