Obituary of Carol M. Freiburg

Carol M. Freiburg, 83, of Freehold Township died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at home. Mrs. Freiburg was born in Newark and had lived in Keyport prior to moving to Freehold in the late 1950’s. Mrs. Freiburg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kean College. She was an insurance agent for the Prudential Insurance Company, Matawan before her retirement. Surviving are her husband, John F. Freiburg; two daughters, Jamie Ann Illmensee and husband Thomas, and Linda Ann Soldo and husband Jeffrey; two brothers, Walter and Charles Metzger; a sister, Allein Sampieri; and six grandchildren, Kellie Terilli and her husband Pete, Kaitlyn Woolard and her husband Dave, Thomas John Illmensee, Brooke, Haley, and Noelle Soldo. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 91 West Main Street, Freehold, on Friday at 10:00 A.M. followed by entombment at Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel Township.
