Obituary of Joan Boyle

Joan Boyle, a life-long resident of Freehold passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 20, 2018. Before retiring she had a 30-year career as a secretary at Ft. Monmouth where she met her late husband, Joe Boyle. Joan was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues throughout her lifetime. She had a gift to train parakeets to speak in two languages. Joan was pre-deceased by her, husband, Joe Boyle and parents Bertha and John Baronofsky. Surviving are her cousins, Nancy Haswell, of Wynantskill, NY, Michael Phillips, of Freehold, NJ and Eileen Skidmore, of Columbia, MD along with many distant cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 13 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold. Following the Mass interment will be at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.
