Obituary of Roman Modino

Rev. Roman Modino, 80, of Lawrenceville died on February 28, 2018 at Morris Hall Meadows, Lawrenceville. He was born in San Fornando Camarino Sur, Philippines. He was ordained to the priesthood on April 7, 1962. Father Roman served the congregations of the Cathedral of St. Mary, Trenton, St. John the Baptist Church, Long Branch and St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold until his retirement in 2012. He is survived by a niece, Susan Dela Pena. His viewing will be held at the St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold on Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:30 p.m. The interment will be held in the Philippines at a later date. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
