Obituary of Antoinette Iuzzolino

Antoinette Iuzzolino, of Toms River, passed away on February 9, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was born in San Gregorio Magno, Italy, and came to her new home in America in the mid 1950’s to join her husband with very little but a dream to seek a better life for herself and her family-as part of a shared community story. She worked hard and achieved mixed blessings and did not always receive the best of luck. She was a strong lady deriving her strength by focusing on her achievements and she was proud of them. She worked for Bristol Myers, Hillside, for many years. She loved her adopted country so much so that she never returned to her native country and proudly became a U.S. citizen as soon as she was able. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, in 1976. For her final departure, God sent her angels in the form of a compassionate nursing staff. She can now rest in peace and smile down from heaven onto her family, her son, Nicholas and his wife Evelyn; and her three beautiful granddaughters, Nicole, Victoria, and Christina, whom she loved very dearly. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral mass and interment will be held privately.
