Obituary of Leonard Joseph Williams

Leonard “Lenny” Williams, 50, of Jefferson, NY died Wednesday February 7, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Freehold, NJ for many years before retiring to Jefferson, NY. He was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School. He was retired from the Monmouth County Road Department District 9 and 5 where he was a laborer, truck driver, heavy equipment operator, assistant foreman and foreman. Mr.Williams was predeceased by his parents, Lenny and Helen. Surviving are his sister Margaret Ellis; a nephew, Bryan Ellis; a niece Heather Ellis; great nephews and niece, Kieran, Brighton and Lily; many aunts, uncles, cousins, many dear friends and many dear friends from The Ethelwood Road Group. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 7:00 to 9:00PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00AM. Interment will take place at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
