Obituary of Alfred Godfrey

It is with great sadness that the family of Alfred Godfrey announces his sudden passing on January 26, 2018, at the age of 50 years. He is lovingly remembered by longtime companion Deborah, son Jareth, stepson Kevin (Stacy), his two beloved granddaughters, Olivia and Vivian, his sister Cheryl (Jeff); the rest of extended family; and his cat, George. He was predeceased by his mother, Irene Godfrey (Misura), A welder by trade, Al worked for NHRA for several years before his passing. His passion was fishing, in which his fish-tales will live on forever in all of those who sailed the seas with him. Another passion was motorsports - he was an avid motorcycle rider most of his life. He will be missed by all who's lives he's touched in both his private and professional lifetime achievements. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 2, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728. A public interment will be announced and held at a later date.
