Obituary of Katherineanne Marie McIlvaine

Katherineanne "Kay" Marie McIlvaine, 77, of Farmingdale, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Born in Trenton, she lived in Freehold prior to moving to Farmingdale seven years ago. Mrs. McIlvaine was an identification specialist for the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold for over 32 years, retiring several years ago. She was predeceased by her son, John Joseph McIlvaine in 2014. Surviving are her son, Joseph A. McIlvaine, III and his wife Ellie Reynolds; a sister, Peggy Gresho; her grandson, Joseph McIlvaine, IV; and her great granddaughter, Allissa McIlvaine. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
