Obituary of Eddie Mercer

Eddie Mercer, 89, of Freehold died on January 19, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Metter, Georgia. He was a mechanic for the Washington Forge Company, Englishtown before his retirement. He was a faithful witness at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Freehold. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Mercer, in 2004. Surviving are his wife, Armanda Mercer; a daughter, Gail Stout; a brother, Charles Mercer; two sisters, Carrie Parrish and Vera Malloy; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A memorial will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday, January 27th at 2:00 p.m. Visiting for family and friends will be begin at 1:00 p.m.
