Obituary of Geneva Fair

Mrs. Geneva Fair, 88 of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at King Manor Care and Rehabilitation Center, Neptune Township. She was born in Madison, Georgia and had lived in South River prior to moving to Freehold over 40 years ago. Mrs. Fair was a nurse’s aide at the John L. Montgomery Medical Home, Freehold Township prior to her retirement. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Freehold. She was predeceased by her parents, Wiley Marks and Virgie Bell Scarebrook Marks; and her husband, Bennie Fair, in 1994. Surviving are three sons, Henry Lee Armour, Benjamin Fair and Calvin Fair; three daughters, Kathleen Carman, Betty Jean Jennings, and Shirley Ann Binion; four sisters, Virgie Robinson, Carrie Bell Massey, Delia Mae Coleman, and Annie M. Perry; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
