Obituary of Irene Frances Stankiewicz Newell

Irene Frances Stankiewicz Newell, 64, of Jackson Township passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was raised in Freehold. She enjoyed animals, makeup, family parties, holidays and cooking. She loved all her family and friends. She worked most of her life as a bank teller and bank manager. In recent years she worked at her local Wawa as a cashier until her health declined. She was predeceased by her parents, Ceslaus G. Stankiewicz and Anna V. Marcelli Stankiewicz. She is survived by two sisters, Jane Estenes and husband Marty, and Elvira Hoppes, three brothers, Chester Stankiewicz, Jr., Gerard Stankiewicz and wife Kathy, and Jim Stankiewicz and wife Lori, her beloved cat, Cali; niece, Jane Ferrara and friend, Rico Badillo, nephew, Joseph Estenes; many other nieces and nephews; several dear aunts, and many cousins. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held during the viewing hours at 4:00 p.m.
