Obituary of Charles L. Ohmott

Charles L. Ohmott, 84, of Cream Ridge died on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton Township. He was born in Englishtown and had resided in Cream Ridge for the past 26 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Ohmott was a driver for Thomas’s English Muffins, Edison Township prior to his retirement. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Schrempp and a sister, Leona Tufenkjian. Surviving are his wife, Joan Ann Ravally Ohmott; two sons, Stephen Ohmott and his wife, Patricia and Richard Ohmott and his wife Andrea; a daughter, Shari Burke and husband Paul; a brother, Carl Ohmott and wife Barbara; a sister, Viola Kelt; seven grandchildren, Michael, Michele, Joseph, Chris, Danny, Christy, and Ashley; and three great grandchildren, Charlee, Alexis and Behr. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
