Obituary of Alice H. Furniss

Alice H. Furniss, 93, of Middletown died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Irvington and had resided in Freehold for many years before moving to Middletown. Mrs. Furniss was a secretary for Radio Switch Corporation, Marlboro before her retirement. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Freehold and B.P.O.E. Lodge Auxiliary, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, former Maplewood Cemetery Superintendent Gerald Furniss, in 1984 and a daughter, Gail Fluhr Clark, in 2002. She is survived by a grandson, Gerald Curtis Fluhr. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
