Obituary of Ruth Accisano

Ruth Accisano, 88, of Manalapan Township passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and devoted to her family. Her husband of 65 years, Nicholas J. Accisano, Jr., died in 2013. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Boris Malekovich; and a sister, Zane Becker. Surviving are three sons, Nicholas Accisano, III and wife Sandi, Charles Accisano and wife Joanne, and John Accisano and wife Linda; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
