Obituary of Frank William Cyrta

Frank W. Cyrta, 68, of Jackson Township died on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Neptune Township. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973. Frank was a (#1A) mason for Coastal Building Services Corporation, Brick before his retirement. He was a potato farmer with his father in West Freehold. He loved sports especially Nascar, baseball, football and fishing. He was predeceased by his son, Donald Cyrta; his parents, Stanley W. and Mary Krystoff Cyrta; and his sister, Patricia Phillips. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Rodriguez and her husband Christopher; his girlfriend, Joyce Smilek; his sister, Barbara Dmyterko; his four grandchildren, Kianna, Christian, Kimberly Rodriguez, and Patty Cyrta; a brother-in-law, Rick Phillips; a nephew, Robert Phillips; a niece, Laurie Buonavolonta and her husband, Thomas; a great niece, Jessica; and a great great nephew, Dylan. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4374, Freehold would be appreciated.
