Obituary of Gloria Mary Schandall

Gloria Mary Schandall, 85 of Freehold Township, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Queens, New York, she lived in Uniondale, Long Island prior to moving to Freehold Township 45 years ago. Mrs. Schandall was a cashier for Norkus Foodtown, Freehold. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Sokol. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Richard D. Schandall, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and James Shields, Jackson Township; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard, Jr. and Nicole Schandall, France, William and Alison Schandall, Charleston, South Carolina, and James and Carol Schandall, Freehold Township; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will be private.
