Shawn you were always one of my favorite cousins. You and I got very close when you moved in with us and you shared a lot of things with me that I will never forget. I will always cherish the memories we have and our late night talks. You always told me how proud of me you were of my weight loss and how good I was looking...no one else ever said much about, but you always did and you made me feel so proud of myself! My kids got so close with you and loved you dearly. My son was so hurt when I told him you passed away. He cried so much . We love you so much Shawn ❤️ The only thing that makes this a little easier to deal with is that I know your finally happy and at peace and in a way better place than this cold messed up world we live in. Shawn, thank you being such a good friend and for all the good times we had. We have been through thick and thin. I remember the time we were going through a toll booth. You were driving. You must have been doin 50-60 miles per hour THROUGH THE TOLL!! Slammed the 35 cents in the basket. Flew through the toll. The alarm going off before it can count the change. Scared the he'll out of me but couldn't stop laughing. I think you invented the pike pass 20 years before it came out. Some of my favorite times we shared were at your dad's annual duke of the fluke tournaments. They were the best. One of my favorite quotes of yours is Don't fight the hand that beats you. Makes perfect sense to me. Why would anybody want to do this? I'm gonna miss you something bad. Love you brother. Your friend Scott.

Shawn was a great person. I have never laughed as hard as when I did hanging with Shawn, Mike D and the guys. He had a kind smile and the best laugh. Hype destructo, as he called himself. To Shawn’s family with my deepest sympathy. I’m so sorry to learn os Shawn’s passing . He was so young and will be missed terribly. May the fond memories of him bring you peace and a smile as well the promise of the resurrection by Christ. (John 5:28,29). At that time no one will mourned the loss of our loved ones because there will be “no sorrow nor death” (Revelation 21:3,4) under Christ ‘s reign.
