Obituary of Jose Hector F. Lumba

Jose Hector F. Lumba, 75, of Freehold Township died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge Township. He was born in Manila, Philippines. Mr. Lumba was a graduate of De La Salle College, Manila, Lyceum University, Manila and received a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. He was a banker for Washington State Bank, West Windsor before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R. C. Church, Freehold Township where he served as a Eucharistic minister and lector. He was a member of the New York University Alumni Association and the De La Salle School Alumni Association. Surviving are his wife, Ana Fe Donato Lumba; a son and daughter-in-law, RJ and Ena Lumba; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanna Lumba Sarracino and Steven Sarracino; four brothers, Cesar, Amado “Boy”, Oscar “Sonny”, and Jaime; two sisters, Linda Mon and Loida Gonzales; and five grandchildren, Isabella, Camilla, Olivia, Noelle, and Luke. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R. C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Covenant House, New York City. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
