I was saddened to hear of Gene's death. I was a former golf course equipment salesman when I first got to know Gene while he was at Hominy Hill GC and working for Steve Finamore and then Dave Pease. Gene was a great fun loving guy who loved to laugh and have a good time. We shared many of those kind of moments on the job and at Golf course supt. meetings.
