Obituary of A. Jacqueline Stankiewicz

A. Jacqueline Stankiewicz of Marlboro Township passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Care One, Holmdel. She was born in Union Beach and resided in Marlboro since 1951. She was employed at 3M until her retirement in 1991. She had many passions some of which were baking and gardening. Upon visits with her, her truly selfless nature led her always to share these passions to whomever came calling. She cherished her pets, both domestic and wild, with great enthusiasm and love. Her only son was her world and after losing him, she followed him 38 years later, on that very same day. Beside her son, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Stankiewicz, her sisters, Paula Mahoney and Mary Kelly and her brother, William Menzel. Surviving is her brother John Menzel, her sisters in law, Josephine Sideroff and Mary Menzel, along with many nieces and nephews. We wish to thank all of those at Care One in Holmdel for their excellent care and compassion. Visiting will be Saturday, September 2nd from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon with a service at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold followed by internment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
