Obituary of Jeffrey James Hall
Jeffrey James Hall, 64, a lifelong Freehold Township resident gave up his 13 year fight with ALS-Lou Gehrig’s Disease on August 9, one day before his 65th birthday.
A graduate of Freehold Regional High School, Jeff attended Electronics School in Cherry Hill and later studied at Cook College at Rutgers University. He worked for Bruce Springsteen in the “early years” and always had some intriguing stories to tell of those times of Rock and Roll.
Later he worked for Thomas Ritchie Landscaping then on to the New Jersey Turnpike. He owned his own painting company before going to work at Monmouth University. He later went to work at Manalapan Township where he found a niche in his field of landscape and enjoyable co-workers.
Jeff is survived by his sister, Pamela Hall Glinka and brother-in-law, Gary Glinka; his wife and friend of 36 years, Marlene LaMura and his wonderful friends, Thom and Lynn Ritchie, Rick Darke, Bob Pezold, Neil Grossman, Jasper White, Arnie Karasik, James and Brenda Wishbow, Lori Papernik, Ron Rudko, Scott McKeen, Uncle Paul Skowrenski, Dr. Rene Friedman, Kathy Valentino and all his buddies from work.
In life of flowers, please donate to the Joan Dancy and PALS Foundation, a wonderful deserving foundation that provided comfort and aide to people with ALS. (https://ssl.charityweb.net/joandancyandpals/)
