Obituary of Earl F. Davison

Earl F. Davison, 95, of Toms River passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at his home. Born in Englishtown, he lived in Piscataway before moving to Toms River. Mr. Davison was a U.S. Navy pilot who served in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Edison as a quality control manager after 27 years of service. He was predeceased by his parents John Howard and Lottie Pettie Davison, his wife Alice Witman Davison and was the last surviving child of nine siblings. Surviving are his three sons Brian, Bruce and Scott Davison, four grandchildren and ten grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Wednesday August 9 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St. Freehold. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday August 10, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
