Obituary of Douglas John Tierney

Douglas John Tierney, 47, of Freehold Township died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at home. He was born in Flushing, N.Y. Doug was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 3, Queens, N.Y. He was predeceased by his father, Brian Bernard Tierney in 2016, and a sister, Natalie Catherine Tierney in 2013. Surviving are his wife, Sonya Buettel Tierney; his mother, Marilyn Tierney; a son, Seamus; a daughter, Kayla; two brothers, Craig and Brian Tierney; and a sister, Karen Tierney-Quigley. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
