Obituary of Karen P. Hornak

Karen P. Hornak, 63, of Perrineville passed away on July 8, 2017 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Hornak was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont and had resided in Perrineville since 1984. She was a graduate of the nursing program at Castleton University, Vermont. Mrs. Hornak was a member of the DeBows United Methodist Church, Jackson Township. Surviving are her husband, Thomas S. Hornak; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Lauren Hornak; a daughter and son-in-law, Alexandra and Constantinos Pangalos; two sisters, Sandra and Marty; and three grandchildren, Sophia, Ethan, and George. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday shortly after the start of visiting hours Memorial donations to the DeBows United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 507 Monmouth Road, Jackson, NJ 08527 would be appreciated. .
