Obituary of Daniel Gordaychik

Daniel Gordaychik, Jr., 67, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2017 at home. He was born in Long Branch. Dan was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas. He was the owner and operator of Eclipse Limousine Service, Marlboro before his retirement. He was a member and Past Faithful Navigator of Bishop McFaul General Assembly, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a member and Past Grand Knight of Red Bank Council No. 3187, Knights of Columbus. Dan was an avid football fan and especially a fan of the New York Giants. He was a beloved son, husband, brother, and uncle. He was predeceased by his wife, Karen F. Bartolett Gordaychik, in 2007 and his parents, Daniel Gordaychik, Sr. and Helen Quigg Gordaychik. Surviving are a brother, Paul Gordaychik and wife Sara; a sister, Ann Georgas and husband George; a niece Kelly Gordaychik, a nephew, Brian Gordaychik and wife, Stacey, and their daughters Leila and Aubrey. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Red Bank Council No. 3187, Knights of Columbus.
