Obituary of Miriam Luhman

Miriam “Mimi” Luhman, 66, of Freehold died Monday, July 3, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Mimi was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident. Mrs. Luhman was an educator and counselor in the Freehold Township Schools. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member of the Freehold Township Education Association, New Jersey Education Association, National Education Association and the New Jersey Guidance Counselors Association. She was predeceased by her father Harry McCue, her mother Joan Hartman, two brothers, Harry McCue and Richard Hartman; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Czarnecki. Surviving are husband, Deacon Andrew Luhman; her twin sister, Margaret Czarnecki; her brother, Thomas Hartman; and two sisters-in-law, Sharon Hartman and Maryann Hartman. The viewing will be held at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, 16 McLean Street, Freehold on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
