Obituary of John Anthony Sammut

John Anthony Sammut, 67, of Greenfield Park, N.Y. died on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at home. He was born in Nadur, Gozo, Malta. He was a vice president of account relations for Bank of New York, New York City before his retirement. He enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, gardening, painting and drawing. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Angel Surviving are two sons, Anthony Sammut and wife Jennifer and Christopher Sammut; a daughter, Jennifer Serafin and husband Richard; two brothers, Louis and Peter Paul Sammut; four sisters, Mary, Carmen, Margaret, and Bernadette; and a grandson, Carson. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held during the visiting hours.
