Obituary of Elizabeth Fitzpatrick

Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, 102, of Manalapan Township died June 28, 2015 at home. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in Manalapan and was a lifelong resident. She was employed at the Washington Forge Company, Englishtown for over 40 years before her retirement in 1978. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a lifelong member of the St. James A.M.E. Church, Manalapan where she served as a Missionary and trustee. She was predeceased by her husband, Butler Fitzpatrick; a son, Butler Fitzpatrick, Jr.; her parents, Samuel and Aldena Conover; her brothers, Clifford, Stanley, and Alfred Conover; and two sisters, Mary and Olga. Surviving are her children, Fannie Johnson, Mary Elizabeth Williamson, Dora Mae Fitzpatrick, Arlene Yarbrough, and Patricia Fitzpatrick with whom she resided; 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. The viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, 133 Throckmorton Street, Freehold. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
