Obituary of Joseph F. Bamber

Joseph F. “Doc” Bamber, 73, of Monroe Township died on June 13, 2017 at home. He was born in Newark and had resided in Sayreville before moving to Monroe Township five years ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a trucker before his retirement. He was predeceased a daughter, Audrey Ann Masula and a brother, Eric Soll. Surviving are a son, Joseph M. Bamber; a son-in-law, T.J. Masula; a brother, Paul Soll; two sisters, Claire Schmidt and Kim Rozman; and five grandchildren, Joseph, Christina, and Kalie Bamber and Giavanna and Giancarlo Masula. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held during the viewing hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Toys for Tots would be appreciated.
