Obituary of Stanley J. Leshinsky

Stanley J. Leshinsky, 94, of Jackson Township died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home. Mr. Leshinsky was born in Holmdel Township and had resided there before moving to Freehold in 1943. He had resided in Jackson Township for the past six years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a farmer in Holmdel and employed at the A. & M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold. He was an equipment maintenance man for Brockway Glass Company, Freehold before his retirement. Mr. Leshinsky was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former 4H member. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Mary Wenzel Leshinsky in 2010. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David J. and Donna Leshinsky and Robert and Elizabeth Leshinsky; a daughter, Beverly A. Leshinsky and fiancé Edward Elfstrom; his grandchildren, Annie, Tammy, Tristin and Adrienne, and five great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
