Obituary of Marie C. Hankinson

Marie C. Hankinson, 91, of Freehold died on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold Township. She was born in the Wickatunk section of Marlboro Township and had resided in the Freehold area all her life. She was a customer service representative for Shop Rite, Freehold. Her husband, Russell Harold Hankinson, died in 1981. She was predeceased by a longtime companion, Joseph DeLucia. Surviving are a son, Stephen R. Hankinson, two grandchildren, Suzanne Hankinson Shook and Michael Hankinson; five great grandchildren, Steven, Shannon, Tara, Austin, and Autumn; and a great great grandson, Derrick. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
