Obituary of Hope Ann Kerr

Hope Ann Kerr, 70, of Freehold died Monday, May 15, 2017 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Hope was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident. She was a librarian at the Monmouth County Library before her retirement. Hope was a member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro and a graduate of Douglass College, New Brunswick. Hope was a loving person and had a great fondness for her cats. She was predeceased by her father Hubert Power and her mother, Elizabeth Crawford VanMater. Surviving are her step-brothers Peter VanMater his wife Carol, David VanMater his wife Leona, step-sisters Margaret Goembel her husband Carl,Gretchen Stone her husband Bill and seven nieces and nephews. Memorial donations to the Old Brick Reformed Church, PO Box 153, Marlboro, NJ 07746 would be appreciated. Private arrangements are under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
